Cottage Makeover for Old Headboard

I bought this headboard a while back - I fell in love with the center design and curvy details. I was so excited when a client of mine decided to purchase this headbaord and asked me to paint it white and distress it- ahhh- woman after my own heart! So here is what we started with.....

I think the distressing really made the beautiful details POP! Here she is afer her cottage makeover!

I really wanted to keep this piece after I finished but..... that would not be very professional huh? =)

She will go to her new home tomorrow!
